We are thinking of spending a lot more time on Ashwem next visit, we visited a lot on 2005 and revisited this March , it is one of my favourite beaches in the North for peace and quiet.
Can anybody recommend a really nice shack which has okay food? the shack we visited this time served horrible food , I don't eat much in the day but still if I have a snack I want it to be tasty and fresh, sorry I forgot the name of the one we visited , as I could have warned you off
Any idea which part of Ashvem you were at ? the area where it meets Morjim nr to La Plage or futher up near the lagoony area ?
Sim , we were more the south side of Ashwem ( so the very first bit you hit when coming from Baga) , fantastic beach , just not a great shack

We normally use Golden Goa when we go to Ashvem Beach and ive always found the food nice and the staff very attentive.
Me too Gemma!!
we like seaview but have to say their prices have shot up over the past couple of years so when we go back we will be trying a few others as we are starting to feel a little ripped off there.
You wont find better than La Plage

We used Sams shack this year and food was pretty good and reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful.
top quality food there. expensive though!!!
I dont mind paying for the best, and as far as places on the beach go, there is no better.

A bit more upmarket than your average shack - and I'm more than happy to pay for good food.
Can you tell me again please. Must admit its very nice.
