R-Wal, my son his wife and two friends stayed here for 3 weeks (returned last Sunday) and liked it. They had a lovely room, but rooms can vary, their friends asked to be moved and were, with no problem. Although on B&B, they were given some vouchers to use on meals in the evenings at the hotel. This happens in quite a few Goan hotels to encourage guests to eat and drink there.
Overall, they would recommend the hotel and would return there. They have in the past stayed at the Highland Beach in Candolim, in Calangute and in Arpora, but said this hotel was better than the others and in a very good position in Baga, saving on Taxis everywhere.
Hi R-Wal, We returned from the Beira mar in January and as on all our stays there, yes the fridge is standard. Hope you enjoy your stay,is it your first time to Beira mar? regards, Paula.
Hi milliemeg thanks for that also any info on the safety box what do they charge
If i remember rightly(I blame my age!!!) it was 100r a day, well worth it for peace of mind, and when the key is returned at the end of your stay you get either 100 or 200r back. The boxes are in a little room behind the reception desk and seem to be quite secure!!! Paula
