We stayed at the BelAir about four years ago so it might have changed. They had safe deposit boxes in an alcove at the side of reception. Can't remember what we were charged for them, sorry.

I don't know specificly about the Bel Air Hotel, but safes are always either in the bedroom or near the reception area.
Usually they charge 1 Dinar per day. You pay a key deposit of approx. 10 Dinars, returnable at the end of your stay.

Hello
Just booked to go to the Bel Air Hotel Hammamet at the end of May. Can anyone tell me does the hotel supply beach towels? Have been to Tunisia before and hotels I have stayed in provided them. As I've only a 15kg baggage allowance don't want to take up valuable space packing towels if they provide them!
Cheers

hi i went to bel air last aug and you needed your own towels, also you have to pay 2 dinars a day for a sun-bed, but watch the attendents they are very good at moving the beds if you arent on it and re-selling to someone else, this happened to me and i made sure they fetched me another to the same place, apart from that we had a great hol with no problems :sun2

hotel has some type of entertainment every night, in the day they play with the kids and do bowls, pool exercise for the adults in the morning. The bingo at night will leave you wondering wot on earth hes on about (example 6 and 6 num 12 ) by the time you leave you get used to him. The hotel is o.k it has a beach bar wich on a wednesday night has a decent b-b-q on with entertainment , we went and enjoyed the change also the food was better, others went n didnt like it but i wud recommend it .The weather will be hot ,hotel is clean, staff friendly (not in the restaurant though) go into town at night when cooler and visit the medina ,plenty of shops dont pay the price make sure you haggle with them , walk away and they ll shout you back, hope you av e great time :sun2

The entertainment was briliant when we stopped there... crazy boy nino and kaka were major people of the team... Nino doing the bingo was a total eye opener he is so funny.
The pool was very cold not sure if it is now... once you are in it your body gets used to it...

Hi everyone

Just wondered if any of you have been to the Bel Air lately and what you thought of it? My fella and I are staying there at the end of august, and all my bf wants to know is if the food and the pool are any good lol. I keep trying to tell him that we'll be spending most of the time OUT of the hotel, but he won't listen...

Any up to date info would be most welcome! Cheers xx
