Hi, went to Belcekiz twice last year and had a bath in the room both times, the only catch was there wasn't a plug!
Belcekiz do supply pool towels and towels in rooms are really more than adequate so no need to pack any.
We love the hotel so much we are returning again this year, nine weeks to go!

you will not be dissapointed sue. when do you go?

In that case starlight assuming you would like one I would drop them an email a week or 2 prior to your arrival and request a room with a bath .

Im sure I read somewhere on here previously that the" no plug experience" has something to do with it being a muslim country and the belief of washing in running water :think

I have emailed requesting a room with a bath but had no response.

when do you go starlite. ?If its within the next couple of weeks I would send them another saying you would appreciate confirmation as im assuming you have a baby/toddler who would need the bath . If your holiday is a little way off and your with a T/O I would still send them a reminder but do it again a couple of weeks before you go as the BB may not have your details yet.

From what I remember when I emailed them last year it took a day or 2 before I got a reply .

Thanks. We go next Thursday. I emailed on Sunday I think. I will try again.

we also go next thursday where are you flying from. we stayed at the belcekiz last year and had a bath in our room.

They have emailed to say there is no babysitting service which is strange because the Belcekiz website itself says that it does.

When in Olu I've stayed in the seaview rooms in the Olu Deniz Resort Hotel.

I've thought about trying the Belcekiz Beach Hotel, as it gets as good, if not better reviews.

Do they have sea-view rooms?

Do they have a spot at the lagoon, they bus you out to (like the Olu Deniz Resort does)?

Do they have a spot on the main Belcekiz beach (like the Olu Deniz Resort does)?

Many thanks

Hi Kim
both times I was there we had ground floor rooms, you could see the sea shimmering away but it wasn't a panoramic view if you know what I mean. May be better from the first floor? The views from the Plaza bar and main buffet were stunning though :)
Its nearly 2 years since I was last there so things may have changed but they didn't have a designated area on the beach or their own bus to the lagoon but would ring your beach of choice and get you picked up at reception

Maybe from the top floor there would be a seaview then.

I'm really surprised they don't have a spot on the lagoon & a bus & the bit of the main Belcekiz beach right in front of them, as the Olu Deniz Resort hotel has that.

They bus you out in the morning, free beds, back for lunch, back to the lagoon after lunch & then back to the hotel.

They also have a soft drinks bar on the beach & they bring round cakes & biscuits for afternoon tea on the beach!

But you do have to pay for the beds on the main beach, but there are free canoes & pedloes.

we stayed in a first floor room, the highest there is and we couldn't see the sea so i'm guessing there aren't any sea view rooms. I suppose with the beach being just a few steps away there is no need for their own area of beach. It is a fab hotel so I can put up with the stroll to the lagoon which is an enjoyable short walk. Happy holidays! :D :D

If you do decide to book this hotel and a sea view is important to you, dont request rooms in the annexe as they are at the back of the hotel. There aren't really any high floor rooms from what I could see as the hotel was low rise with just two floors.

There is no problem getting to the various private beaches the hotel reception will always call the mini buses to come and get you. They have a specific one that they work with and have a large board advertising it at the entrance, which I think is Suara Beach, but if it's minbus is busy they will call one of the others.

I have read a couple of reports regarding the Olu Deniz Resort and Sun City being taken over by the Russians............can anyone confirm that the same fate HASN'T befallen the BB ?
Thanks,
Graham.
