Hi all
i know that the olu deniz beach is quite long and i just wondered how `pestered` you can get on it ?
and any idea how much it is to rent the loungers , mat etc ?
Sorry to ask all these questions but im days , maybe hours away from booking !!

I've never been pestered on the beach there - and I've been there many, many times.
Sunbeds are plentiful and cost (I think) 5TL for the day.

Can't remember the price but Olu Deniz beach is very nice indeed. You get a few guys passing by offering to get drinks from the beach bars, they never impose unless you call them over. Occasionally you get someone selling fruit or something but generally you are left in peace. I am glad to say. Three weeks time I shall be there.
There is a charge to go to the lagoon area (not very much) but if you get one of the free buses to take you further round the lagoon, there is no admission charge and the sunbeds are a lot cheaper.
Look our for Sugar Beach and Suara beach. They will collect you from your hotel and take you back.
thanks all
We took the family there for the day about 10 days ago. No pestering.Just the lads from the cafes, when asked, bringing drinks to you.
Just to add, the boat trip men do try and sell you their trips when you look like you have just arrived (due to lack of sunshine in blighty!) and I never wanted to go so just smiled and said no thank you and they wished you a nice day. They never bothered me but other English holiday makers got irritated by them just trying to sell them a boat trip polietely.
I've never been bothered on the beach.
In all the years i.ve been only once was i pestered and it was by an english girl trying to get us to go handgliding!
we go to suara beach in the lagoon area which is free to enter, the area you pay is only about 50p anyway and you can either walk about 15 mins or get a free beach mini bus, we have never been pestered there and not all parts of the lagoon are charged to enter , so all you pay is a few lira for the sunbeds, the scenery is gorgeous
