Cafe de la mer, Marina Rubicon?

Just returned from a lovely week in Playa Blanca, loved every minute and did not want to come home!

We always enjoy a drink down at the Rubicon Marina at Cafe de la Mer, a beautiful bar by the seafront of the Marina and we were shocked to see that it had closed down! It always seemed busy whenever we went so we were very surprised.

Has anyone any information on this? Has it gone forever? :cry:

I don't think Cafe del Mar will be gone forever, but just a couple of days ago they had a DIGGER inside breaking up the floor, a major overhaul rather than a "changing rooms" scenario :shock:

Oh I hope so. Thanks for that update, it was always such a lovely place and location to go for a "chill out" drink!

It's still closed - no sign of it even reopening! We got back on Monday.

Just got back.

Lots of building work going on inside.

The lady in Mystic says it is reopening in about a month
