Just returned from Cala Mesquida Suites at Cala Mesquida and as it is not listed in the hotels listing I have posted Review here.
It was an absolutely excellent holiday!! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for peace, quiet and a gorgeous suite in an adult only hotel.
The junior suites are spacious with wet shower, vanity area, whirpool bath, lounge area, writing desk and chair and 2 massive comfortable beds. They are spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding changed daily and beach towels supplied.
The pool area is beautiful with loads of loungers, hammocks, four poster beds etc all well spaced out. There is a pool bar serving snacks and drinks beside it. The grounds are lovely and well kept as is the swimming pool.
The hotel is also beautiful. The staff are courteous and helpful and cannot do enough for you. Food is alright and if half board you can swap two nights to the a la carte italian or mexican restuarant although I have had better. However if I went back I would go B&B and eat out in Capdepera or Cala Ratjada where there are loads of good places to eat and drink.
The small resorts of Cala Ratjada and Capdepera next to Cala Mesquida are beautiful and are still old worldy. Not the place for a riotous holiday but there are plenty of bars and a couple of discos in Cala Ratjada.
I would recommend car hire for this area however as it is quite remote. The beach is within walking distance from the hotel as are the few shops and supermarkets.
There are no lager louts or noise here just peace and tranquillity - absolute bliss.
Highly highly recommended. Classed as a 4 and a half star but honestly would rate as a 5. I will be booking again to return this year.

Anne,
Absolutely gorgeous. Did you like it there?
The beach of Cala Mesquida is the most gorgeous we have discovered at the Island. But if you look around there are more and more quited beaches at the Island. Last year it is forbidden to go into the dunes, but this is an agreement all over the Island. Check the next time Cala Torta, part of it is naturist beach, but do you care? We don't!
Thanks for the great report. I have requested this hotel is added to our data base, so hopefully in a few days you will be able to post it in reviews

Cala Torta will be on my to do list next time!!!!!!
