We are due to go on holiday in 4 weeks with Jet2 but I have just found out my mother is seriously ill. She has been poorly for a long time but her condition has deteriorated rapidly over the last couple of weeks.
We have insurance but are unsure whether we would be covered due to her illness being long standing. Reading the small print, I don't think we are and I don't want to ring the insurance company just to check.
We only have 2 weeks in the year when our leave from work match, so would be unable to go later in the year. Does anyone have any experience of postponing their holiday from one year to the following year?
