We are going to America this summer with 2 children aged 9 and 6.
Can anyone tell me or is there a website I can check out to tell me the regulations for the necessity of car seats for the 2 children ie. what size/age/weight do they have to be or can I do without them (the car seats that is...not the children!)
Thanks for your help
I put "childs cars seats in the US" and got several results. It will depend on which state you are travelling to as they all have different laws.
There is some good information in THIS SITE. Assuming you are going to Florida, it looks at a glance as if a car seat is required up to the age of 5, but it would be best if you read it in full to make sure.
