You wont have any problems getting cigarettes in Ocho.

If your staying at a resort they will be available from the shop there at around $11 a packet but you`ll find them cheaper buying from one of the MANY beach venders who sell for around $7 ,also there are plenty of shops in Ocho that sell them.

We were in JA in May and the most cost effective way was to buy them on the flight out 400 should last 2 weeks and just top up in JA if needed.

i thought the cigs were expensive in the hotel but what i did was buy them off the plane and took them into jamacia with me but we found out that they was very cheap in airport on our way home
