Just come back from the Tarhan and i don't know if it was a bad time to go as there wasn't a thing to do the private beach is about 100 yards long and water sports consisted of one wind surfer one pedalo two jet skis and a canoe

the food was very poor to say the least and very little variety at first site it looks great with the accomodation in two storey roman type villas in imaculate grounds and three great pools and a water chute
There is no resort - the resort is the Tarhan in the middle of nowhere and transfere time is about two hours from the airport and there is absolutely nothing near we travelled the half hour dolmus ride into Altinkum for most of our meals (Altinkum is great) and after 9 days we transfered ourselfs to the Parkim Palace where we book in half board there for the last four days and had a great time there, we only went back to the Tarhan to pack ready for home, we have visited Turkey for the last five years and this was the worst experience we have had -- if you like watching grass grow then this is the place for you - Oh forgot to mention -- No food or drink will be allowed to be brought into the Tarhan from outside, if the security man on the gate suspect that you have food or drink they will stop and search you and confiscate any food or drink you might have and to add insult to injury the even charge it to your room
