Great to hear your family enjoyed their holiday Wilson - am sure you and your wife will too in October

Well came home on Saturday morning from a week in Marmaris and in Club Turquoise. Absolutely brilliant week. The apartments were very quiet and at times there were only a handful of people at the poolside. The upside though was the terrific weather, it really came as a surprise to us this late in the season, it remained between 30 - 35 all week. Visited our usual restaurants ( Taj Mahal, Kervan, O'Yes and Dervella down at the Marina). Also ate in the apartments which is also good. Our first night we were invited to join Irfan and Bonita (Manager & Wife) to eat with them at the poolside. Turkish mezzie's and then a sort of mixed grill, lovely food and excellent company. We were able to return the hospitality by inviting them to the Kervan with us. The good lady was in her element lying by the poolside with her Kindle and I got out for my usual walks which are so pleasant at this time of the year. Resort was very quiet compared to the bustle you get in July. Met up with lots of our friends amongst the staff past and present and they do really make us feel at home. Will come as no surprise when I say arrangements are already made for our holiday there next July.

Forgot to say, wee problem with transfers. Yesil Dalyan appear to have folded. Tranfers4u use them in the resort. They changed us onto United Blue who failed to turn up to take us back to the airport.
