you dont know me so judge not lest ye be judged
I don't know you, but i know of your claim case, which you started on an open forum,
so basically yes, i do think that i'm entitled to my opinion.
Yes but my point seems to have wen above your head. Do not class me as if you know me. You are entitled to your opinion as I already stated if you have nothing more constructive to add then move along
Let's keep the personal remarks out please - on both sides.
I know he accepted the money I told him he shouldnt have, but I will write to them and see what they say. Worst they can say is no, which by the sounds of it is what its going to be.
thanks

There is no way compensation can be claimed in this situation. He was compensated for the taxi. What else did he lose except some sweat? Your brother made it to the airport. He made his flight. He`s home, safe and ok. The other complaints are a separate issue. You wanted to know about compensation for a non-pickup. You got your answers. Leave it now, its over. IMO.
I admit if the coach never turned up for me I'd be livid but if when I got to the airport they refunded my taxi fair I'd be saying 'Thank God for that as it saves having to try and claim it all back' and that would be the end of the matter and I'd be quite pleased to have got the money back so soon!
I agree with the other posts in that although inconveniant and no doubt stressful at the time, the latter may warrant complaint but certainly not compensation. There was no money lost and it was all sorted pretty much instantly. I think if you pursue this side of things it will only cloud what is probably a more valid complaint, that of safety. With any complaint letter you need to be concise and precise, putting the most important points first, it would therefore probably be a good idea to try and cool down on the transport issue so you can be more objective.
We've all had problems on holiday- however I think there is a big difference between things that warrant a complaint as opposed to compensation.

I think this problem has now been resolved for the parties involved. Topic locked.
