We were at Abu Dhabi in June although we only stayed for 3 nights as it was as a twin centre with the Seychelles. It is very nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I do prefer Dubai though as I was really impressed with all the different shapes to the buldings in Dubai. In Abu Dhabi they are not as fancy but I still really enjoyed my time there. We stayed at the Emirates Palace. Absolutely georgous. One day my husband and I were the only 2 people on the beach. There is a huge shopping complex close to E.P. but just cannot remember the name of it at the moment. I booked my holiday through my local travel agent as he always gets me good prices. They are a small independant company,but fully ABTA bonded etc. and because they are not restricted to a few operators they can really shop around to get a good price for me. Hope you get something sorted for Abu Dhabi. If you need more info then just ask.

Im sure we will be ok, as long as the beach and hotel are nice, we are only looking for a chill out week, and wanted somewhere different. We booked for Dubai 3 years ago but Kuoni changed our hotel 3 times in the month before we were supposed to go due to building work, so we ended up in Cyprus again. Having been to spain, greek islands and the caribeean, we wanted something totally different. I have also been looking at Muscat but im not sure if it is safe to go there with the iraq war and everything.
