Hi All

As I have previously mentioned we have had to change the date of our trip from May to December.

Does anybody know whether or not the Conrad lays on special Christmas Eve and New Years Eve "Gala" type dinners, I noticed a lot of the other resorts do but can see no specific mention of this in the First Choice brochure for the Conrad.

Are Egypt's duty free prices similar to those in the Canaries or Europe ?

Does anyone know what the local charges are for, for example windsurfing ?

Oh my God!!!

I am soooooo excited now , the beach does look fantastic pippy, cant wait to jump in that sea for some serious snorkelling.
I can almost feel the heat on that beach. :sun

I think you arrive the day i leave Pippy im the 14th July-28th July.

With all you easily exciteable women visiting the Conrad before me, by the time I get there the male staff are going to be in a heck of a state!

It'll probably take half an hour to get a drink!

It does look nice though doesn't it? I even feel a teensy weensy bit excited myself!

Nice pics Swiss, where are all the people not one to be seen anywhere totally deserted :shock:

Hope its like that when we are there, lots of sun beds to choose from, plenty of room in the bar etc

Pippy how long does it take the Conrad to reply to e mail, I sent them one on Monday and have not heard anything yet, mind you at the same time I e mailed First Choice and they have not replied either.

It was a few days before I received a reply, in fact I think I sent another one a few days after the first and then waited a bit longer for the reply.

Can you let us all know if FC reply and what they say please Steve?

Hi Steve,

The people probably all disappeared when they heard Swiss was about!

The last time that I emailed The Conrad, they took 3/4 days to reply.
Last time I emailed First Choice they took about 2 weeks!

When I took the pics was just before Christmas and just before sunset. I would imagine that the hotel would have been around 75 % full but most people had already headed back to the rooms to shower and that before dinner.

I can see Carrot already jumping uo and down with his bucket and spade beaming with joy and anticipation !

Conrad Sharm El Sheikh

Hi

We are going to this hotel in March, and have tried contacting the hotel via email with no luck.

Does anyone know anything about the diving school at the hotel, my husband is a qualified diver, and just wants to know costs of dives and hiring of gear and also dive sites etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
