I've got to be quick, but I've come back with around €280 from my holiday a fortnight ago. What's the best thing I can do with them? It's not as if I can just put them in a pot for the next time I go away, so I'll have to change it back over.
Where is best to do this, does anyone have any advice?
Thanks
Your best bet is to sell them to a friend or colleague who is going to the Eurozone soon. You will get a poor rates if you take them back to where you bought them from.
Do Marks and Spencer still operate foreign currency outlets in their stores as they used to do in Strasbourg? If so, they used to offer commission-free transactions at a decent rate ...
Just depends how stuck for cash yo are, if not desperate I would hang on to them.
we never change euros back as we know that we will use them again in the future saves loosing out on the poor exchange rates offerd
I'm another one that would keep them until next time.
I also keep any spare euros for my next trip. Paula
Any euros, or other currency I have left over I change for Tunisian dinars when I get out there, as I go twice a year. My grandson has just come back from a stag weekend in Spain and he's giving me his left-over euros to get him a sheesha. He tried one for the first time out there and was going to try and pick one up in London but I can get it a lot cheaper in Sousse.
like others , we never change euro's back , we put them into a tin that we use for collecting our coppers and £1 and £2 coins ins , cant access the contents unless we use a tin opener to open up the tin .
Normally I keep them for another trip, I did have some left over and was going to keep them for next year, and son is away so gave them to him
