Should we hang on to them in readiness for our next holiday (if the UK bank balance can stand it, and the ash cloud ever disperses

or change them back to Sterling? Come to think of it we've got a €100 travellers cheque too left over from last summer.
I wondered if the Euro crisis in Greece will affect the exchange rate?
