arrived back this morning, weather has been extreamly hot although it cooled a little last to days as there has been a srong breeze which gave us a good bumpy trip home, the roomd a massive the trwin you dont need to upgrade there all large, its £23 to keeproom on till 5pm did this yesterday,dont forget eveytime guest leave they leave all there lilo rings suncreams and books snorkels for other guest this is a great idea as thy did this 2 years agon,
we were snt a letter to out room telling us as we were returning for our second visit to csr we got a bowl of fruit bottle of wime and plate of cakes everyday, also we got vip green wrist cands this did not do othing but a nice gesture we were also invited to to cocktail evening with the managers this was nice they ask if there were any changes we would like. they told us there will be more treats for returning guest annd if you visit 6 times you name will go on one of the palm tree,s any qustions need answeing let me know, emember its really hor out there
you dont need long trousers for dining at all shorts are fine anywhee

Be slightly wary of booking the late checkout at the hotel, due to a first choice problem we ended up without our pre booked late checkout. On arrival at the hotel tried to book late checkout told it would not be a problem but to do it the day before coming home.
The day before we booked but only had the room until 3pm despite trying to argue that we had been told 5pm. It was OK but not what we wanted and still meant hanging around with two hot bored children.
This was our second visit to the CSR and was the only blip

It seems real now.

We returned last Tuesday (early hours) fantastic holiday, this was our third visit, decided to try the late check out at the hotel this year and booked the day before we left $40, we kept the room until 5pm with no problems.

We also had the same cleaner as the previous 2 years, Sharif, he was a pleasure and made some fantastic sculptures from towels and flowers.

We also like Chelsea are the best had wine, flowers, cakes and fruit delivered, we were given the green wrist bands but decided not to wear them.

The only slight trouble we had was at the airport on the way home, we had packed our cases minus all of our toiletries (delivered to the entertainment staff), we had used all of our suncream and the 4 litres of juice I had packed had been drunk by the kids, somehow at the airport they tried to tell us that we were 7 kilos over on luggage and for a discount could pay the man £35.00, the couple that had checked in before us had booked extra leg room and paid cash, I had seen the money go straight into the guys pocket, after a little bit of argy bargy we removed our fleeces (apologies to anyone we held up in the queue) and surprise surprice our cases after being re-weighed were under the limit. Take care if this happens to you, I know 100% we were under on the way out, we had not bought any heavy items and disposed of quite a few T shirts (to the staff) along the way, I think someone was trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

I may even complain to First Choice about this.

Overall as always the CSR did no disapoint, fantastic holiday, be back again next year.

Hello folks. Am off to CSR with my girl friend on 27th September. I can;t stop looking on the forums and reviews, they have got me very excited.

Just wanted to ask if the sea / pool view rooms have an iron and ironing board included. Prefer not to take a travel iron if avoidable.

if you contact reception they will bring you an ironand ironing board at no charge, as my daughter used one, have a fab time it was really hot out there last week,,

Going to CSR on 27th and was wondering if I need to bring a long sleeve top for the evenings?
Not sure how warm it's going to be in the evening.

No need for long sleaved tops its really warm on a night time.

I took a lot off dressy tops with sleaves and never wore any off them it was so warm i wore a vest top or a sleaveless top and then i still found it very warm indeed

You will have a brilliant time we did and will be returning to the CSR in the future.

how many stops on average are there before CSR from the airport nott that were excited or anything.5 more sleeps to go

We stopped twice on our coach its only 15-20minute from airport

It will all depend on how many people are staying at the CSR and which other hotels can be serviced at the same time.

Our coach went straight to the CSR. All in all about three coaches arrived roughly at the same time.......usual chaos!!!!

Hi back from CSR early hours of Fri morning.
The weather was fantastic and the breeze was very welcoming. On Tuesday the temp was 95 degrees.
Our room was huge and the balcony was too.
Enjoyed ourselves immensley but have booked to go HV next september prior to hubby and I going to CSR, glad that we have as I think there will be more going on in the evening.
Only downfall if I wanted to be picky is that hubby and I are non smokers (sorry to all you smokers ) but the bar (Finnleys) was the only bar for entertainment unless something was going on at the ampitheatre and this was only once in the two weeks we were there. Well, Finnleys was not a huge room and the smoke was overpowering for us so we only stayed in there for less than an hour. It would be much better if they designated smoking areas in Finnleys and the reception bar for all holidaymakers to enjoy. Pleased to say that they have done this at the buffet restaurant but not in the italian where the ambience is much nicer
Have also remarked this on the guest survey.
Other than that the place was lovely.
