Visited the Bude area in 2016, and visited a good few locations (Port Isaac, Boscastle, Clovelly, Padstow, and even a long day oot to Lands End)
Loved the area, so looking to maybe book Cornwall again for 2018, but probably a different area and maybe a bit further south ... we did a cottage (Self Catering) in Marhamchurch so would probably look for similar, rather than hotels, etc
Questions are .....
- Which area/areas of Cornwall would you recommend?
- Have you any personal experience of self catering units you'd recommend?
Stopped off in Penzance on way back from Lands End, cracking view of St Michael's Mount ... thinking this area might be prime candidate
So I am hoping this thread takes off.
Me too
we would just head down the West Coast. Actually we would probably end up to Fort William . pass Glencoe, down to Oban and across to Mull, back again and down to Inveraray. There are so many interesting places to stop.
Ended up finding a cracking spa Hotel in the English Lakes though, in Grasmere, as an alternative
Stayed in a cracking log cabin in Craobh Haven many years ago, so so peaceful
