Beermat, What a coincidence we are also going to Cambrils Park but staying with Siblu in their mobile homes, don't suppose you know what they are like? I havn't heard good things about Siblu unfortunately

but on a plus the site has great reviews, what did you think of it? What is the area outside the site like? Not long for your hols now

hiya twinkletoes cambrils park is lovely but i haven't seen inside one of the caravans . the pools are huge the bakery shop is very good and there is a small supermarket on site too. also there was a cash machine(handy) the entertainment wasn't good when we went, it was the beginning of may,quite quiet. there's a restuarant and mini golf.it has got lots on site and it is very clean and there is two pools.it's a short walk down a dark road to the main road into cambrils and there are buses and taxis to take you into salou. hope this helps.

Thanks alot beermat, are most things open on site and in and around cambrils/salou this time of year? I hope its not too quiet, mind you one of our weeks will be the half term week so I guess that week things will liven up, then again I don't like it too busy either!! Hard to please or what?? :roll:

As a matter of interest do you have any idea what Salou is like in the August holidays? I have read somewhere that it is far too busy

hi we went one year on the 5th may and it was all open but was quite quiet. the kids club hadn't really started.the waterpark(caribe) doesn't open till the 12th may(info on what i've read ) but shops etc are open.we've never went in august(it would be too hot for us then) but i bet it's really busy. hope i've helped you

Hi Beermat, yes thanks, you are a wealth of info on Salou, you should write a travel book!!

I can imagine it would be far too busy in August, anyone out there been to Salou in the August school hols? Only 5 days to go Beermat
