Has anyone been to salauris hotel in salou. If so do the men have to wear trousers for evening meal or can they wear shorts. Also what is the food like and also the entertainment. How did you find the port aventura theme park to be and where did you buy your tickets is it best to buy before you go or when you get there. Thanks
port adventure thread
depending on how energetic you are from the H10 solauris palace turn toward the roundabout cross over and head north it about 5-10 mins depending on speed
they claim 10 mis from beach i think more like 15.
being a 4star i would expect nothing less than the standard dress code of collard shirt and long trousers for dinner.. someone may be able to confirm

hi sambache my hubby went to have a look and said he smelt it going through the front door. hope this is sorted out for you and doesn't put you off
hi the salauris dress code is trousers below the knee, no vest tops for men. the food is good but shop around in the restuarant for things you like. bar staff very slow and tend to ignore you unless you draw their attention. get the bacon cooked again over at the egg counter(says my son) as it is a little raw.
Sewage! noooooo I am sure we will ignore it, were on holiday!
We were in rows 2 & 3 and we had empty seats by us! I don't usually get lucky like that!
What about the wind!! We were on the 5th floor at V. Romana and i thought the glass doors were going to blow in one night.
Think I was in Tarragona on Monday (or maybe Tues ) and it was like a sandstorm on the beach!
No way i was in row 5!!!!!!!! and we stayed at Vil.la Romana, Row 4 was where the Girl was sick before take off lol, cant remember row 3 allthough i do remember 3 seats to the right on row 3 were empty haha!
actually i do remember a woman wih red hair sitting near them rows i think, she had a kid with a barcelona shirt on? That isn't you is it? Also they had a cow print case from what i remember as everyone watched who picked it up hehe
We were in row 2 & 3 on the left hand side (actually row 2 was the first row of seats if you know what i mean)
Did you have any trouble booking in? I think we were the first people to book in on the 25th as we got a cab from the airport.
I had booked the flights and hotel idependently. When we arrived the receptionist said we would be staying the first night next door, at the Saluris Palace , as they were over booked. I very politely said "no way". (can you imagine, not being able to unpack and then the room probably wouldn't be available until 1.00pm the next day!)
At first I thought they were trying it on because I hadn't booked with a tour operator, but when hubby was in reception later that evening, he heard the first choice rep telling some people, who had just arrived, that the hotel was over booked and they would have to spend the first night next door.
Don't know what happend after that.....
