Thanks for that Craig.
l shall make a note to keep my furry thing close by and not let too many people examine it in great detail
dont want to surprise the passengers do I!!

:rofl

Seriously though I was thinking about taking a kilt for the formal nights too, but as you said on your Melody post they do weigh a lot.
Reply
Craig, you don't have the same baggage weight limit that Myles has, I think! Myles is on Easy Jet, 15kg. Go for it!
Reply
My limit is 20kg, thankgoodness. I am very light too - if my luggage is a bit over do you think i could point out a, ahem, heavier person?

I feel for the RyanAir & EasyJet (thought their limit was 20kg too)passengers having to cope with a weeks cruise and formal evenings with only 15kg.

Hi Craig,
I have always felt they should weight the people too and have an aggregate allowable weight! Dream on! Thankfully my limit is 20kg too plus 10kg handbaggage! phew!!!!!

The Avon Catalogue is currently selling BOGOF on suntan lotion. Nows a good time to locate your local rep (no I am not an Avon lady).

Phew, please don't do that!!Just off to my bed and read the bit about luggage allowance with Easyjet. Dashed downstairs, checked confirmation and it definately says 20kgs. As I am the Emelda Marcos of the travelling world (or to put it more precisely am a mass of indecision when it comes to packing shoes) I nearly had a fitty when 15kgs was mentioned. Also from recent travel experience with Easyjet, they don't weigh your hand luggage anymore but it has to fit into a sort of test frame at check-in and providing it fits you can take it on board. Am a little bit :pele :pele :pele myself as have received travel documents today....not for cruise (sadly) but for Malaysia (whoopee) in exactly four weeks from today (and counting).
Nite nite.

Don't laugh Dizzy, I thought it was an mosquito repellant!

I have an apology to make to all Easy Jet passengers! The baggage allowance is 20kg, not 15kg! I am confusing them with Ryan Air! Sorry about having caused severe panic! Just as a matter of interest their excess baggage charge is £4 per kg.

Sorry peeps! :hmmm

The reason why I post the previous was lost on me, I just got carried away (some hope - I can hear you all, wishing)

Who or rather where does it mention is the T&C about sharing cabins with strangers :?: :?: :?: :?:

Point to ponder - or have I missed somthing :bhead

Hi Phil

Welcome back.
The cabin sharing option is R***'s latest scam (oops sorry, offer) to get rid of the backlog of some of the 39,200 cruisers who still wish to sail this year and have not accepted the vouchers or the offer of a cruise in 2006.

You're quite right, it's not in the T&C's, but if they are willing, why not? I'm a little concerned that we may find ourselves 'bunking up' with another passenger!! Surely they wouldn't do that to us?

What happened there?

Guess even though we are so close to the 9th may the **** fiasco still goes on, no tickets till goodness knows when :shrug , the thought of bunking up with someone in the cabin really l dont feel is on!! thought it was a single cabin per booking and no mention of sharing (scarlet can l share with you in that case  ) there really is no reason to with hold tickets, unless they are going to show possibly our cabin no and other occupant(!) by which time its too late to phone them!!
Can you imagine the scene at the Pursers office on sailing day if that is the case? :pele :argue :pele :argue
I personally dread the thought of opening MY cabin door,on MY cruise,to find some strange man on MY coverlet :bawl , and god forbid its bunk beds, can you imagine me on top !!!!!!!!! :yikes
