That's interesting because my brother-in-law has had food poisoning confirmed after returning from Icmeler last week, and thought it might have been from chicken he had at KFC in Dalaman. Hope you are ok, but I wouldn't eat at these places as they are rip off.

Hi my daughter and her friend both got kfc meals at dalaman airport coming home on the 25th may.My daughter took a bite of her burger and noticed the chicken looked pink so they both took them back tp the counter and were told that that chicken is "supposed to look like that and it was normal". After speaking with the manager and explaining we dont eat pink chicken they agreed to replace them with freshly cooked ones which were fine and thankfully no food poisoning. Does anyone know who prices kfc, mdonalds ect in this airport always thought fast food was supposed to be cheap. £20 for 2 Kfc is ridiculous but on saying that it cost me and hubby £13 for 2cups of coffee which they had the cheek to half fill and 1 packet of crisps.

i checked a few prices at istanbul airport this week and they are a lot more reasonable so why cant dalaman charge similar prices to istanbul airport

coffee 5 lira

water 2 lira

pancakes 10 lira

sandwiches 10 lira

these prices were after passport control ,some of the restaurants were slightly cheaper in the main airport

Hi All,

after reading posts regarding KFC, thought i'd post some info.

I used to be a manager for KFC in the uk, and the chicken is cooked in deep pressure cookers, with temputures very high, if they are not high then the chicken would come out looking pale in color on the coating.

all i can say to those with pink chicken is that the oil in the pressure cooker was not at the temp required before they lowered the trays into it, as it only takes 15 minutes to cook 72 peices in one cooker.

You are right to complain, they can write it off and does not affect their stock but the head office will look into things if they write of a lot of chicken and will be asked why it's happening. you still have your rights to obtain a replacement meal and even a refund !! ( turkey not so sure )

most KFC's are franchies, so the owner pays for everything. surly if he is having to write off chicken, he will look into why, but then with the costs they are charging compared to the uk, thats 4 meals and he may not care as it's all been covered !!

Still Enjoy a KFC even tho i know i used to make it :cheers

Gregg
