We're staying in Albufeira - has anyone done any day trips to Spain from Portugal without hiring a car? Is it easy by public transport (we've two kids) - how far is it? Are there any organised trips?
Cheers!
In my opinion it might be too much of a trip to do it one day by public transport even more with two little ones.I wouldn't reccomend it as a day trip.
Cheers Luis.
There are day trips to Seville from Albufeira, just pop into any of the little excursion shops that are dotted around the town. It's about a two and a half hour drive to get there.
Yes this is true there are loads of excursions to Seville you just have to see the times and see if it too long of a trip to be in a coach there and Back it means 5-6 hours roundtrip one a day.To be honest knowing Sevilha like i do you need much more time to enjoy the city.
True Luis, but it depends on how keen liggy is to practise his/her Spanish...
hehe that is true Algarveaddick:-) Just a piece of Advice to the orginal post, please don't try to practise your spanish in Portugal people might take it with offense, you see all the historic background between the two countries.
no its 20 mins approx each way but Spain is 1hr ahead of Portugal
done this ourselves a few years ago for a day out
wizard
I guess I will have to wait for another year to tell Spanish people I have short brown hair and green eyes!!
