Many Thanks Van, Will give them a look, should have asked about the telephone sockets at the same time......anyone know what adapter I need?
spain uses the ame socket as the US RJ11
you can get US/BT adaptors at places like maplins.. http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=12492&doy=28m2
If you need the line to ring get the more expensice one as the first one does not make the phone ring for icoming calls...
HTH

Wonderful!! Will let people know how I get on....thanks again
No probs...enjoy your trip.
I used gonuts when my ISDN line was disconnected. I know it was good, but was always aware it was costing me money Sorry, but I can't remember just how much it did cost. However, there are now internet cafes all over the island for reasonable prices, if it is not imperative to be online all the time
you'll find plentiful internet cafes, often located in arcades.
Well Gonuts4Free is doing the business!! Not the fastest in the world, but good enough to get a Skype call through. Thanks for the advice. It's quite handy having a laptop as we can log on to HT when things get quiet and get some ideas of where to visit next. So it's greetings from sunny Guime -I'm off to the pool again.
