hi, can someone help. when i click on to the link for the webcam, all i get is a grey screen where the picture should be. the adverts are there but no camera. thanks

Name this bar..... and idea's..........

Hi

Last year whilst walking along the beachfront we came across a bar that was a little like cheers? It was outside and they used to do live shows, the one in paticular that sticks in my mind was the michael jackson impersonaters dancing across the roof of the bar - can anyone tell me the name of this place and if its open this year?

Also can anyone reccomend somewhere with live shows or music, or comedy (although I do admit last year I didn't see much in the way of live shows)

we always went to the appolon which was on the beachfront they had michael jackcon kylie minouge robbie williams and shows from the musicals, but it seems this place has gone not sure where they have been moved to but it will be a shame if it doesnt continue

Heather927 The Bar name is Cheers. It is still open this season and shows are still running.

The other one is by the Waterpark called The Brothers Fub Pub. It is running in winter and summer times. :idea:

marmaris help 1st timer

im staying at club happy days going ths weekend
is it hot at the minite? also what is the weather like at the moment? and does any one know how near happy days is to teh beach the nightlife, any recommendations for eating out? sorry questions questions

Hiya clairey,
For the weather, go to the top of the Turkey forum and look for daily weather reports from turkey, a few of the members live in or near to Marmaris.

As for your Apartments, they are in Armutalan, they are roughly 20-30 mins walk down to the beach. Or you can get the Dolmus (little bus) down to the beach too, they run often so you wont hav a problem catching one.

Ive been to Marmaris 5 times now, I always have stayed in Armutulan. Its a lovely area just back from the beach but close enough to walk or short taxi which costs little if there are 4 of you sharing. The beach front is where the best night life is in my opinion but there are plenty of places in Armutulan to eat, Try the September bar and Amadeus on the corner which is a shirt walk fro HAPPY DAYS

Ive also been to happy days not as a resident but my friend worked there last season and we spent the day ther. Its really nice and the bar staff were all lovely. We went to the turkish night that they have and it was excellent loads of different entertainment and the break dancers were excellent there was a fire bloke there too who did some amazing things. The food was excellent too.

Elvis Bar / English Pub in Marmaris

I haven't been to Marmaris now for a couple of summers and I was telling my friend, who is going to Marmaris in a couple of weeks, about a bar we always used to go in, it is on the main road of Marmaris, further along towards Icmeler than the Taj Mahal, above the huge Vogue Jewellers, has a big statue of Elvis outside. Best Elvis impersonator I have ever seen, they also used to do a Blues Brother show & karaoke there. Is this bar still going? I don't want to tell them to go to find it has closed down, I hope it hasn't as we used to love it in there!!

That's great news, my friends mum is the biggest Elvis fan ever!! Are you in Marmaris now? Is it too much to ask if you know what nights the Elvis show is?
