Hi,
has anyone tried diving in Cala En Porter? Are there any recommended dive centres? What is the diving like in general? I am quite experienced but I will be travelling with somone who is likely to want to do a "try" dive so would need a site that is not too deep or affected too much by the currents etc.
Have done a few searches but can't seem to find anyone actually listed as a dive centre in the resort.
Thanks in advance for any help. This will be my first ever visit here so I am a little bit clue less!
JustVal if you Google 'Diving in Menorca' you'll get a list of centres on the Island, plus a map.
Menorca is a small Island and very easy to drive around. I'd recommend a car even if you weren't diving as it's so easy to get out and about and explore

Thanks Glynis, will definitely be having a car for a few days. I only intend to do one days diving as it is not fair on a non diver to be left alone while the other disappears to the bottom of the sea!! well...maybe 2....

I dont know Val, I quite like it
just had a looksey about and from what Im reading there are no dive centres actually based in Cala n Porter but there is one in son bou next door and the S'algar diving centre 20 mins away does use the bay at cala n porter .

I am sure I will sort something out....I really need to get a skutch on with it as we go on 21 September.
Sundays Mornings you will regulary see diver training in the bay so it must have something and the local dive centre is in Alaior ( 10mins drive ) I believe
