Hi all, going to sharm next week . My only concern is the water temp. I have not been before, do i need a wet suit or will it be warm enough without.
Sorry if this has been covered before but the search link is down at the moment.
Ian.
If snorkeling, a shortie would keep you warmer than none at all (and I don't mean naked). You tend to lose track of time when floating and body heat does drop quite quickly as you don't use much energy.
Having said that, other people may have different opinions.
Going in 2 weeks and thought wetsuit would be ideal for 9 year would save his back from getting burnt.
for snorkelling probably you are ok with a shorty, you can buy them in naama bay or in old sharm in the dive shops, but probably more expensive than at home if you can find one!

Thanks, i will be snorkeling with the missus but i want to go prepared. I thought info from someone who who has been at this time of year before would be best.
