Silentman, my unlocking software is on the laptop which is at home today.
I'll have alook tonight and let you know if it covers your dongle...I downloaded it for free but not sure where from and can't remember what it's called at the moment.

The Reliance looks like a good buy. Does it come with a Victor? 
Silentman, I use a program called Dc unlocker but I don't think it supports Alcatel dongles.
There is a web site where you can post you IMEI and they will generate unlock codes for you for free. You just need to put the sim into a phone and enter the codes. I'll pm you the details.

Thanks Fritz I tried the web site you recommended but got no reply to my request, was going to buy a sim free dongle as tried last year in goa and was unable to find anywhere to unlock mine, found a site the other day had to register but got the unlock codes free in a couple of hours and it works fine now
