To all members,

May I once again apologise for this weekends outages.

We have installed new software and upgraded the server.

I'm confident most issues are now behind us but please feel free to post any problems you may experience since 20:00 on Sun 29/11/09 in this topic.

Hi Van,

Don't know how or why, but I had a redirect to holidayforums.co.uk - splendid page with "It works!"

Unfortunately not a clue where it came from (went to make a cup of tea with a couple of tabs open)

Using Firefox , I get..

for the holidaytruths.co.uk domain name. http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/

However, for http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/index.php It seems to work Ok ???

When I click on View New Posts I get this, have cleared my cache but its it still appearing.

Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it.

Just tried clicking on 'View new posts' and problem seems to have been rectified............no Box with File Download appeared. :tup

Opps spoke too soon just come back online and that box has appeared again when I clicked on 'View new posts'

I have cleared selective cookies (several of them) specific to Holidaytruths. I closed my browser and reopened it, when i tried the normal URL I got that download box again. When I used the index page link, I got in but had to re-log in (proving that my cookies had cleared).

So the problem is still there for firefox users I believe.

Edit :- I have just cleared recent history (last 24 hours) and that has cured it ! :tup

A little more trouble in finding the main Discussions Page but I can still reach those pages on the http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/ site. I did take advantage of this to post a hotel review.

Hi- couldn't get through my bookmark (index page)- just a blank white screen, but got straight into this post through luci's link in OTL.

and when I click on "board index" get white screen again! And I tried clearing out my cache.

Firefox is not loading the Board index page but my iCab browser is... :think

I spoke too soon. an hour after saying it was OK, I get a different problem. White (blank) page but status bar says "done ". Only got on here direct to this topic via link provided elsewhere by luci.

Edit:- Cleared cache tried again, got to the home page OK via normal URL, but needed to log in. Logged in and got a blank page ! !.
