A lot depends on which part of Paphos you will be leaving from....

We are in Limassol, which is central to both airports and find from our house to Paphos airport takes around 30 - 40 mins driving time but takes an hour minimum to reach the harbour area of Paphos. If you are looking at Peyia and Coral Bay areas, this can add on at another 20 to 30 minutes to get back to the highway roundabout.

From the exit roundabout at Larnaca, it will take another 10 - 15 mins to reach the central area of Finikoudes seafront. It's a little quicker if you take the route along Mckenzie beach roach (along the front of the airport), approaching Finikoudes from the fort and the old mosque.

But you have to take to the back-streets when you get to Varoshiotis Fish Restaurant half way along and, unless you know the route well, will easily become lost in the labyrinthine maze of tiny streets.

Best route for a 'Larnaca novice': come off the motorway heading towards the airport. Pass the airport, continue along dual carriageway to a roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout. Turn right at trafic lights. Follow this road along and you will reach the Prom.

You could turn right off the dual carriageway onto Faneromenis Avenue. This will take you to Ag. Lazarus Church.
