Hi
I like to be early always 3hours before due to fly, I am always worried something might go wrong on the way to the airport..roadworks etc. Like to be one of the first at the check in queue, get rid of my cases, then I can relax.

I am a worrier so I have to be there early just incase LOL At least 3 hours or so for us.
On the way home we always get there as late as possible though as I hate hanging around airports wating to come home.
Il be there 3 hours before...terminal 2 manchester airport, espically with the new scanners...it will be hammered...it will only take me 15 mins to get to the airport..so not stressed about that bit..love the taxi to the airport, start of the holiday for me, and especially when we are finally checked in cases gone, and a good mooch and a few purchases in duty free then some brekkie and a couple of vinos...:O)even if it will be 4-5am Il still have an alcholic beverage
im always there 3 hours before, i like to get checked in and through security to start some pre holiday drinks..
I hate hanging around airports so never get there before I have to. Most of the duty free is over-priced things I neither need nor want and there has always been time to pick up anything essential I've forgotten, such as travel adaptors (a couple of times) and warm gloves when on a trip to Denmark (infuriating as they were poor quality and value and I've plenty at home )
Early, although not fun for 9 hours or when you are catching a ferry in the middle of winter with the snow on the ground and it in the - outside and no where warm to go, that said, next time we go, yep, we go early anyway, better to be safe than sorry xx
Early! We only live about 45 mins from the airport but I insist we stay over the night before. I like to arrive about 2.5+ hours before the flight but always end up in a check in queue because they check in all flights on all their airlines desks. When through to airside it's upstairs to one of the lounges and then I usually stay put until the flight is boarding. I might go down and have a quick look in duty free but not normally. I hate flying, it's just a means to an end, so I like to be removed from all the noise and hustle and bustle. I am really quite anti social at the airport
