Best to email the hotel and ask about an early check in. You mayhave to pay half a day rate. If its not possible then I would book from the day before.( Also, it may be a 3pm check in. )

Thanks Fiona, I've emailed an enquiry form to the hotel so hopefully they'll get back to me with some acurate info.

If you want to guarantee getting into your room before 3pm on the day you arrive you should book for the day before, eg if your flight lands at 00.20 on Friday then you should book your accommodation from Thursday.

.....and tell the hotel when you will be arriving otherwise they may consider you a "no show" and re sell the room.

Yes deffo book the hotel from the thurs- or you will be hanging around until check in which is normally 14.00 hrs- and thats the last thing you will be wanting to do.

I have done this myself booked the accommodation from the day before- and iv also booked an extra day when we had an early morning flight too.

Have a nice hol!
