I know that they've shut several schools in Hania due to structural concerns.

all i know from the news is that in Chania area a rock went off from a hill rolled down and hit the wall of a house. that was the major damage. i hear of cracks in some old building but not sure. it was one that was felt by lots of people around Greece, but life went back to normal after a couple of days. Dont forget that we do have them all our life and after the first one you get used to it happening. in my first one ever i paniced. after that i got used to.
Good thing is it took place deep in the earth as if it was higher up it would have been a bad one.

Glad there were no reports of any injuries though. Because of the internet and texts etc we get to hear of things so quickly and there does seem to be more rumbles of earthquakes than we realise everywhere and we get to hear of these much more because of the communication facilities. It seems like that anyway!
