This sounds very much like the "Holiday Club" s c a m :( but with a different name to it!

Where at Faro did they approach you Mandii? If they are allowing "holiday club" scammers there, it's a disgrace, and I for one will contact them about it to complain.

PS - Wiz, why does ???? turn up when the word c o n is written - is it a rude word in another language?

Might be genuine, provided it really is from Easyjet and not just someone taking their name in vain, which I guess is entirely possible knowing timeshare/holiday clubs.

Easyjet is such a big name in the travel industry and a multi-million pound business, I dont think they would dare put their name and reputation to something that wasn't legit.

Only trouble is it might not be Easyjet at all, its simple to mock up paperwork that makes you look like you are a bonna-fide company. :think

I filled one of those in at Faro in the departure lounge.

They're not from Easyjet though and the questionairre takes about 20 seconds to complete.

It is one of those holiday club things but i've never heard any more and am not interested anyway.

Yes.

I walked out of the duty free shop and was accosted by a lady asking me to do i survey i declined but she was persistent and said it would only take a few seconds and i'd be entered in a prize draw. I was laden with my hand luggage, the wifes hand luggage and the kids hand luggage at the time and just quickly did the survey and put the draw ticket in my pocket and then the bin when i got home.

There were 2 English ladies doing it.

My husband filled one out too whilst I was in Duty Free. Was Easy Jet, or was it

If it was EasyJet, then I would expect the "interviewers" to wear EasyJet uniforms.

it was airside, an english man came up and said he was doing survey for easyjet but they be because we were waiting for an easyjet flight, done the survey easy questions, and then when we got home we received a letter to say we had won!!! it all seems to good to be true, but just to find out we are going to collect our Prize on thurs so will keep you posted.

I wonder if you will be subjected to a 4 hour heavy sales lecture. Please keep us posted

Would it be worth ringing Easyjet to see if they are connected to this or not?

Good luck for Thursday Mandi.

Thanks for the info, we are flying back this weekend, so I will keep a look out at Faro, and ask a few probing questions of my own if I come accross them...

I overheard a couple at Bristol airport a few weeks ago giving their answers to a questionnaire. Basically they told the guy their surname and postcode and that they'd be out of the country for 10 days :duh

Seem to remember this was going on in June at Faro aswell. [Just been reminded by this thread] The people doing the questioning werent wearing the orange of Easyjet. Also if I remember rightly, it was for a golf resort that was being built.
Being from the home of golf I declined to take part. Golf spoils a good walk by the way ;) ;)

Ok folks, just to confirm Yes it is a Timeshare promotion, having won my holiday i have been to collect my prize and endure 2 1/2 hours of trying to sell me a timeshare, which obviously i declined, but I ended up with a holiday for 4 and a £25.00 M&S voucher. I am still worried about the holiday too good to be true but will keep you informed as it goes along.
