Does anybody know if Easyjet will be flying from Stansted to Madeira after 1st November 2011 - cannot get a direct answer out of them - gatwick flights have been on sale for some time and last year, flights from STN to FNC where on sale from May. I simply want to know if they are withdrawing this winter service from Stansted
ps as far as food is concerned - Easyjet onboard food can be expensive so I always buy a meal-deal from Boots or WHS at the airport to take onboard
thanks
Been for a run down to airport this afty (good job it's only 5 mins in the car) and my Sub Zero G cabin sized trolley suitcase fits perfectly into Easyjet's rack thing at check-in so now have answer to my questions and hopefully it may help someone else
Thank you for that, we can take ours in sept now.
Can anyone give me any tips on the return journey?
Flew with them for the first time last summer to Rhodes from Liverpool and while it was nice and easy
going it was a nightmare on the return journey, we just didn't know the procedure when queuing.
Hope someone can advise.
Jeanie
The only problem you may have on the return from Tenerife is if they bus passengers to the plane, and do not seperate those who have paid and those who have not to make it easier for the ground staff as in May they changed the gate number, it will be interesting as we fly from Manchester to Tenerife in November and would'nt consider paying for speedy boarding ever.
Hoped it might be a bit better at Tenerife, sounds the same as Rhodes.
Only book SB as hubby suffers with dodgy knee. Oh well will have to go with the flow.
Think Easyjet have a cheek charging for both ways if it only works on the outward journey.
Cheers
Jeanie
Sorry, but something has gone wrong. [ej2 exception]
There are a number of reasons why this may have happened which we are working to resolve:
You altered the currency you wish to pay by, please try booking again paying in the default currency.
If you have reached this page after submitting your payment details we recommend you check my easyJet.com to confirm if the booking was successful before trying again.
Definitely haven't altered the currency and flights paid for 6 weeks ago.
If I go to Easyjet's homepage, it lets me put in lead passenger name and booking reference, but then just takes me to the page with all my details on it.
Operating system on laptop is Vista and I'm using latest version of Mozilla which hasn't been a problem with Easyjet in the past.
The only thing I can think of is that my Mum booked and paid for the flights, I've printed off the booking confirmation email and the page showing the error message. Just hope that's enough and if the problem is due to Mum booking the flights, I'll ask them if they think it unresonable for my parents to pay for hubby, myself and our twin girls to go and see them.
It might be a couple of days before I'm able to get online to post what Easyjet say.
I had this problem a few days ago but i was in turkey at the time looking to see if the flight times had changed kept getting the same message as you.
When we got to Belfast International, hubby went to Easyjet's information desk with the print outs and was told that not printing the boarding cards out wasn't a problem. The reasons they gave were either due to us having infants with us or there may have been doing work on the website (was able to do online check in for flights back in May so didn't think this was likely). Asked again at check in and they said most likely was work being done on the website. Just got to see what happens when I try to check in online for return flights.
Hi, Easyjet have released flights next summer up to end of June from most airports but not Gatwick yet. I have some good prices Bristol to Dalaman.
Booked mine this morning to Malta. £224 for two.
Have emailed Easyjet yet again to confirm if flights after the above dates will be available to Madeira - just waiting on their response - but guess I will get the usual fob off of flight slots not allocated with no direct answer etc
oh well, at least I have booked out of Gatwick for New year!!!!!!!
Does anyone know when next July flights are on sale from Manchester.Going to Tenerife in June but coming back July so cant book them yet.
I have just printed off our boarding passes. It states ''bording queue 2''... What is this? Maybe a silly question but just wondering. I am travelling with myself and a 5 year old if that makes any difference...
Hi Ruth, i'm not 100% sure but i think that boarding queue 2 is if you are not booked as speedy boarding . Some airlines call disabled people first , or people with young children , the low cost carriers call those who have paid extra to be first.
You are correct, Queue 2 is for those who have not paid for speedy boarding, The speedy boarders will be called first, then those with special requirements ie some disability and who have requested assistance, those with children under five and then just ordinary people like me.
Is that because I have booked through a third party ?
Wondering if anyone else has been booked on EJ through a third party and managed to check in on-line?
We had this earlier this year and when the tickets came 10 days before we went there was a number that aloud us to check in, this was with Archers
Thanks shrimper goodness knows what I am doing wrong, I can't seem to make it work, I might give James Villas a ring, I know my flight numbers an I have a bit of time to do it. I could really do without queuing up to check in, travelled with them a fortnight a go and the bag drop off thing is so much better. If you check your bags in manually they just have one long snake like queue for all flights that seems to take up half the airport.
I checked in on the opening page near the bottom, with the booking reference Archers gave me. What I found interesting was asking Archers if they could do speedy boarding for me and they came back with a price £ 20 less than Easyjet and it all worked fine
