You can aslo do it by air and I have recommended a local TA in Cyprus to people before and have had good feedback for this. You get to see all the sights without being stuck on coahes for hours on end.
To avoid blantant advertising I will send you a P.M with the details!
Cheers
Ada

Thanx to everyone for their help and replies.
Gail,
Hi cla
Hiya,
Is this your first visit to cyprus,
It is ours.
We usually go to spain, but this year wanted to try somewhere different.
Gail,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
You will love it, although I have never been to Protaras, I have heard great reviews. Ayia Napa is close to Protaras.
We always go to Napa as it is lively, well as livley as you want it to be, has something for everyone. You should go there one night when it comes alive..
Once you have been once you will def go back..
Clare
Yes we are getting married on the 15th june.
What date is your wedding?
Have you booked you reception yet?
Are you going out there with family/friends.?
There is 14 of us going out, including our 3 sons.

We get married on the 14th June in the hotel outside on a sea view deck it is called, having the reception under a Pavillion in the Hotel grounds and have opted for a BBQ rather then a proper sit down meal.
Yes family and friends, 45 have already booked which is brill, there are a few more also still to book..
Have you sorted yours yet?
Clare
No I havent booked my reception yet. I think I will wait till we get out there and then make my mind up.

Ayia Napa wont know whats hit them
Have you got your dress yet?

Before I forget do not think the ships provided packed lunch will feed you as a small child eats more then what they provide you with for the full day and there is only one small drink included. There is no where to stop to buy anything to eat or drink. The coach drivers sell water and cold cans on board but no food. the pyramids were good to see but a lot of con artists so be very very careful. The museum is very busy and not for the faint hearted as I have never seen a place so busy ( its like a full football stadium coming out all at once) i have been and seen it would not go back and it made me decide not to do a nile cruise next year. Instead I think it will be Sharm el Sheik. The traffic is crazy they stop where they like the do not know what white lines are for and dont believe in a normal speed its fast fast or dead slow.
The bus journey from port to the 1st attraction was about 3 1/2 - 4 hours it was a long day and i was extremly exhausted, I would not advise it for young children or elderly people as there is not much room on the coaches and as it is so long and very warm most people slept so they missed the sights of interest. Our guide was good and spoke most of thetime infact she never shut up... we did this as an anniversary present to ourselves and I am glad we have been.
Good luck to those who decide to go
Michelle
