Have just started looking for prices for a 15 day tour of South Africa (the World in One Country type) - we can find a large number of deals thru the web varying in price from £1900 to £3500 per person inc flights.
Problem is that a lot of these packages come from smaller companies such as Riviera Travel, Magic Travel, Travelsphere etc (Virgin were the most expensive !)
Can anyone recommend one of these agencies, having travelled with them recently??
PS Have looked at self arranged holiday ...but flights are coming out ridiculously expensive on their own and my wife doesn't like the idea of booking/paying for various lodgings in SA over the Net.(We have recently suffered from credit card cloning after a holiday in Tunisia!)
If I was going to book a long haul tour with a company rather than independent I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
Judith
I can recommend Kuoni and Voyages Jules Verne for tours - we've used them on trips to Sri Lanka, Cuba, Kenya and Portugal and we've never had any problems.
