hi
could anyone tell me what the exchange rate is today in the shops in
Las Americas
here its 1.38 and i want to know if its better to bring cash and exchange it there
Just looked at the Admiral web site and they are 1.43 to the pound in Tenerife today
without wishing to be a Nationwide bore but their flexaccount card will give you the very best rate (at ATM withdrawals) and at no cost / commision to you.
A couple of weeks ago they beat Admiral travel and any other outlet in PDLA / LC hands down. Admiral were offering 1.41 and Nationwide were giving 1.45.

Here it is: TODAYS EXCHANGE RATE
1.44 las night in Fanabe exchange shops.
I have noticed that Admiral have been slipping lately, they used to give the highest rate, but they are usually 1-2 cents behind now. But at least they give you an idea of the rate before you travel, much better than the UK rates.
