There are a few Bridal shops in Exeter, my wife bought her "mother of the groom" outfit here :

We also have the usual chains, there is a new(ish) mall and we do most of our clothes shopping there...
The Bigger stores (DEB, HOF,) have concession counters for most of the big labels...
As for Accom, there is a range, from PTI to upper class.....
Depends on your budget..
Three days in Exeter is good, gives you chance to explore around (dartmoor and the coastline..)
Any specifics, please feel free to PM me...

Thanks - we're not 5* people, unless it's a really good offer. We're looking for a central hotel that's clean, with a bar ,and that'll do us - but a hotel rather than a Guesthouse. B & B would be fine! If there's a pool that would be even better
The Rougemont is very central, good if you can get a good deal, but don't pay top rates..
There is a Jury's Inn that is also central (they do deals as well)
Somewhat cheaper, but still well located : The Park View hotel.. I've had a couple of friends stay there and they were happy...
There's a few to be looking at... there are also plenty of B+Bs, but be careful where you look...
Not sure of any hotel in the centre with a pool..
I'll keep watching this thread...

merseygull - Exeter has lost my custom & money I just couldn't find any central hotels with guaranteed car parking. There were two within my price range which stated a limited no of spaces, but both charged.
Sorry to hear that... actually, car parking in Exeter is very good (if you know where to look... )
