I have bought soap and glory 'feel the knead' which is a bar you rub on your thighs with knobbles on, it is exfoliating and also claims to reduce cellulite. Only used it once , fingers crossed it may help with my lumpy thighs :think

Cindy crawfords fave, a handful of used coffee grounds and a puddle of etravirgin olive oil,,, ms together,, rub all over and shower off, skin is smooth and moisturised with natural plant oils,
down side is the mess left in the shower!

I have just used this, ( as i do often) and im nice and smooth, and skin mositurised with out being sticky as some creams leave you

i also tried sea salt and oil too as i had a Clarins seasalt rub at a health farm once,

Good luck with what ever you buy

I have the roughest, driest and cracked skin on my feet I have ever had and I am so embarrassed to wear sandals without wearing tights. Is the Body and Soap Scrub good for rough feet?
Reply
yes and they one called the scrub of your life which is well worth a try. I would invest in a good footcream though aswell. :)

I use those exfoliating gloves from Boots with some olive oil soap, it's like a mini Turkish bath ;)

Best thing for rough feet is a pumice stone, I wouldn't be without mine.

I have just recently started using the exfoliating gloves with a moisturising body wash ( currently Johnsons!)

wow ! :tup wish i had discovered them sooner! instead of watsing time & money on using various scrubs!

the bumpy skin on the tops of my arms and legs is improving each time I use the gloves :) much smoother and my skin looks and feels really healthy

gives it an almost "body brush" feeling of clean and smooth but without the harshness IMO!

After reading through many glossy mags of the years they always advise to exfoliate during your hols to deepen your tan and get it to last longer??

I have never taken this advice and just shower every morning & night using my usual shower gel & buffpuff (gently!).

Does anybody exfoliate during their holidays??

I always used to be afraid to scrub my tan off until I realised that all exfoliating does is get rid of the top layer of dead cells. A tan works from the inside out so by getting rid of the dead layer, the deeper layers will appear fresh and radiant. I can't say I do it on hols but I do exfoliate soon after getting back and it does seem to work :tup

I use Rub, Rub, Rub which is an exfoliating shower gel from Lush, I absolutely love the smell and always take some on holiday with me :D
