Hi everyone, we are back in Malta early September 2005, I see from our list of festa's that there are at least 3 festa's during our stay all on September 4th they are St Catherine in Zurrieq, St Gregory in Sliema, and Our Lady of The Girdle in Rabat, obviously we know what festa's are and what generally happens but could anyone please tell me or point me in the direction of any websites that give detailed info on the ittinery of events for each festa, in general the events normally start a few days before so what I am looking for is what is due to be happening at each festa on each day, eg, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Many ta's

all I can say is that these dates are normally(always ?) for the Sunday, the last day of the feast, and most follow the same format - starting on the Tues or Wed, with nightly fireworks on the Friday onwards
Sorry not exact answers for your questions but might help
This link is about the Mellieha village festa - is this on at the same time you will be over?

Regarding the Zurrieq festa you could try this link for their newsletter

Also, spotted this on yesterday's Sunday Times - starting 11th September there will be a Culinary and Cultural festival at Ir-Razzett L-Antik in Qormi. Apparently they will be posting more details on their site at the begining of September. I have never visited there, but judging from the site it seems interesting.

Hi Mark and Ingliza, thank you both for this info, I have been to Ir-Razzett L-Antik and had a very nice meal there with Mrs Sliema2 in June last year, have got some business to sort out in Qormi anyway so might kill 2 birds with 1 stone and go again to re:acquaint myself with the garlic roasted lamb with fresh mint washed down with a large bottle of Delicatta or Marsovin, and if we stopped off in Hamrun for a few pints on the way back then this would make for a very pleasant evening mmmmmmmm sounds good to me .
