Been out here for two months and the problem seems solved in Arona but not in Adeje.
Arona has slapped a 2000 euro fine on the touts, I havnºt seen one.
Unfortunately Adeje do not seem to have sorted it and there are dozens.
The border between Arona and Adeje is the concrete barranca between Veronicas and the Playa Troya Hotel in PDLA.
The border between PDLA and LC is Compestella Beach complex which is in PDLA and Towers of the Sun which is is LC.
So you wonºt see any touts to the east of the barranco which is Adeje.
Here till March so will report.

Just got back from 3 weeks in LC and never got bothered once and only saw one scratch card girl so they must be doing something right!

Update.
Been out here for 3 months and not a tout in Arona, so no touts from Los Cristianos to the concrete barranca in Las Americas, unfortunately Adeje has not yet passed the same law but am told it is imminent.
Touts are operating especially around Harleys for the Flamingo Club, don`t be tempted by what any of them tell you, because you will lose any money you invest with them, you have been warned.

yes there are still touts and prs here in los cris.... i see a fair few around the las vistas area on a daily basis

I have been visiting Tenerife for 4 years now and never seen any scratch card touts. Have stayed in Las Americas, Los Christianos and Torviscas. Only seen 1 or 2 people trying to get you to go into bars.I am I just looky or is is the areas I stop in?
