We're looking at a DIY holiday, and are trying to find the best flights from either east mids, brum or manchester, so far found about £220 p/p with BA from manchester, but was wondering which other airlines did maybe better deals if poss for september flights to paphos ?

There are no low cost airlines flying there but you might like to try one of the tour operators. You can buy a flight-only package from them and this does sometimes work out cheaper. You could also try a price comparison site such as http://www.travelsupermarket.com. I have had a look on that site but all the fares seem to be higher than your BA flight at £220.

sheduled uk flights are Monarch cyprus airways & BA charter flights abound but there are no buget flights..

Had a quick look for you and there does seem to be a good choice of flights obviously the flight price depends on when you want to fly.
We booked our flights with them as we only had to pay a deposit and the rest six weeks before so it gave us the chance to save up.
I noticed on their website that Excel (which has a sister company called Freedom Flights) and also Thomas Cook fly in September.

yeah, i checked that site & it's definitely good - esp the deposit aspects
as for my join date, well I am only 23 (if feeling 53) but on that particular day in may when I joined (a few others with numbers around mine too have too) it seems to have been a bug, there was a topic a while back in the help section I think about it. Seems funny to see me join 11 years before my birth tho

It has a DP code on the system i am looking at right now so that leads me to think it is scheduled.

I am planning to go on holiday to Pathos for the first time in September - but am having huge problems finding cheap flights (I already have sourced a villa from a friend so am booking seperately.) I wanted to go the 23rd sept to 30th but flights are coming up at more than if I had booked a package holiday.
Does anyone have any suggestions?! The average price I can find at the moment is £230 plus!

You'll probably find that there aren't any cheap flights to Paphos. Its an expensive place to book flight only for some reason. £230 isn't actually that bad if that includes taxes etc.
