Anybody know when Globespan release their Summer 09 schedule for Lanzarote for Glasgow/Edinburgh?
Flyglobespan has been fined £5000, following its recent guilty plea at Southwark Crown Court on charges relating to a breach of air safety rules ...
I cannot believe they've only been fined a total of £5,000 for this type of safety breach. The costs were nearly as much as the fine! It's hardly a deterrent for not letting such things happen again.
I was more than a little surprised too Darren, the fine is only a fraction of what I expected them to be hit with.
Flying with Globespan in September. Noticed that the girl who did our booking has put 2 adults on the booking form instead of 2 senior citizens. This is just such a trivial mistake, but will it cause bother and should we get it changed?
just received an email today from flyglobespan informing me that my upcoming flight to orlando in september will now be on a 757, does anyone know the seating plan on these planes as i already had my seats reserved.
I've not seen a seat map for GSM's 752's and I'm not aware of a website with one. Expect a fuel stop in Bangor as the 752 doesn't have the range to make it non-stop.
Darren
yes it did mention that in email ...flaming annoyed now as i had seats reserved for ages.
does anyone know the seat pitch on the glasgow- sanford route on a 757, thanks.
Last year Flyglobespan changed our flight by a whole day (Added a day on, so we then had to change the car hire and hotel etc - nightmare!) but they upgraded us to business class for the inconvenience, and i must say - it was a lovely way to start the holiday!!
Fingers crossed they wont change our flight this year!!
no they didnt offer any compensation, just explained that a few people had been 'bumped' to different days as it was a smaller plane and that our outbound flight was ok was only the inbound that was changed ,then advised me of my new seat numbers, dont suppose theres much that can be done , just happy that we are still all seated together on flight.
I have heard Flyglobespan have a habit of changing flights etc, but i bet all airlines do it to an extent. When do you go? We are really looking forward to it!
26 days to go!!
we leave on 23rd semptember, not coming quick enough for me, just hope they dont change anything else, dont think i could cope with hassle of them changing the flights to different days, hope you dont have to go through it again.

It depends on how they are running things at the moment. I beleive there are 22 business class seat with 38" seat pitch and 167 seats with 30" seat pitch.

heres hoping it is, wont mind so much then
just noticed on website that they use the 757 from the 6th october now instead of 31st october.
I am leaving Glasgow to Orlando on23rd am I right in saying that the plane has now changed to one that cannot make the full trip in one go.
what is the seating arrangement as when I booked my seats we got two window seats, there was only 2 seats beside the windows if I remember rightly and maybe a middle isle but I cant remember.
Any information would be great.
Welcome onboard
Is that 23rd August? I believe they are still using their 767-300 on that date. Please quote your flight numbers when possable so we can check on things easier (GSM725/6). They're configured 2-3-2.
Darren
as far as im aware they are using the 767 up until the 6th october then switching to a 757, i leave on the 23rd september and my flight going is still on the 767 but return 9th october on the 757, all i had to do was call them up and rearrange the seating plan for the return trip.
