Hi there, going to Crete in 3 weeks, anyone stayed at the Galaxy Villas in Koutouloufari? Have visited their web site and it looks nice, would love to hear any comments - good or bad.

I have not stayed in the Galaxy Villas but love Koutouloufari and Hersonissos. My friends and I are staying at the Marni Village. Only 3 weeks to go too!!! Cant wait. We went last year and had a fantastic time. There are so many great restaurants and bars to visit. Have you been to Koutouloufari before?

Hi no, have never been to Crete before, but I believe Koutouloufari is very nice, but was a bit worried that Hersonissis might be a bit too lively for us, as long as there are plenty of tavernas serving proper greek food. 2 weeks on Tuesday can't wait.

Hersonissos is quite lively, but we went in June last year too and it wasnt too bad that time of year. It only gets really lively in the early hours. I would recommend going to a restaurant called Galini, it is fantastic food and service and if you have children they are brilliant with them. Star Beach in Hersonissos is also very good. It is a water park and beach. Free to get in and you just pay for the activities you want to do! Only 3 weeks on tuesday unitl I go. Hope you have agreat holiday. If you want any other tips just ask
