Galaxy going to TUI and yes this is the parent company of Thomson's I think. Galaxy has just had a mini refit of 4M but not the large refit that Century underwent a couple of years ago.

Have booked Galaxy for Oct , that is just 5 months before her transfer hope I have done the right think would hate to get the feeling of things just ticking over until the hand over

Prindy, I would imagine that 5 months out this will not be a problem, but probably will be come Jan/Feb 2009!

Your cruise is a fantastic itinery, and the ship will have had some refurbishment done by then. Don't worry, am sure you will have a fantastic time!

As I have said they have done some update right now and spent a few million on her. I liked the ship she has an Art Deco feel built in 1996 so over 12 years old. They replaced all the bedding and beds on Galaxy last year and other than the windows fogging in the upstairs forward lounge the ship was in good shape. Cant remember the name of the lounge but it is where you would sit inside for the best views.
Don't worry if you have got a good deal and the itinary is great for thw ship.
