As in every market you should ask to see the items out of the wrapping so you can feel the quality for yourself.
Really looking forward to seeing these fakes, Selfridges have had too much of my hard earned money on designer items in the past few years!! We are flying to Bodrum then going to Gundogan - Are these ,arkets on every day in Bodrum and is it easy to find or can anyone give me any tips? Mui Mui here i come!!
Macandme, we believe that Bodrum Market is on two days a week, Tuesday and Saturday sound familiar but don't quote me on that. From a fake watch dealer near the town centre, I bought a Rolex watch for £10 and FIVE years on, it still keeps perfect time, naturally, I have gone through a number of batteries since then !!

Thank you for the replies. Cruisecontroller - thanks for the recommended times and pricing.
Does anyone know of any good shops or markets in Side/Colakli? I'm going to Kamelya World at the end of next month.
Also any rough price guide:-

We bought a pair of child's D&G jeans for 12YTL and they have lasted well and look great. I reckon they would have lasted well over a year if my daughter didn't grow so much (I've cut them into shorts now, and they still look good). Also bought a pair of SOS jeans, they were 30€ and they lasted well...but due to a loss of weight they are now useless (they lasted over a year of almost constant wear though). We also bought some t-shirts but I'm pretty sure they were genuine (had proper english tags on) and they were priced 20€ each, but pair 40€ for 3 of them. They still look brand new. The cheaper, definitely fake ones, I would only pay up to 20YTL for them, and I'd get them out of any wrapping to check sizing and quality. I also got a gorgeous bag, I did pay around 100€ for it but I love it, and it is an amazing quality. The man originally wanted 250€ for it, so I don't feel too gulity with what I paid.
Basically, just haggle the prices to a reasonable price. Some are very overpriced, some seem quite cheap.
I got a fake Chloe Paddington handbag a couple of years back in Icmeler - it is genuine leather though, and really good quality. My father-in-law used to be a saddler and worked with leather, and it got his seal of approval. Looks the part - not at all cheap or "fake" looking. Haggled the seller down to a good price too - I use it every day for work and it still looks as good as new. You have to shop around though - I have seen some terrible-looking fakes, really cheap and nasty looking ones.
