Our company promotes golfing holidays mainly to Spain and we feel the area is excellent for golfers with the infrastructure, weather and courses available.
However more and more clients are asking us to include Turkey as they say it is fantastic and up and coming. They comment that it is like Spain was 20 years ago. Spain is starting to look at its prices at last but it still appears way behind those of Turkey if the comments are correct.
The prices they have told me they can obtain for a weeks golf in Turkey along with the facilities and hospitality are incredible and appear too good to be true.
As our season is January-early May and middle September-end October could anyone give me some advice on the weather and areas please. Are flights regular and cheap? Where are the best areas? Are the courses as good as people say i.e., championship quality?
Are then any books you would recommend to read up on before I come over?
Without a doubt I will travel over and explore the areas to see if we can include them within our brochures and would welcome any help and advice.
Thank you in advance.
Antalya has an International Airport.
Antalya has a good reputation for its golfing facilities. Eight or nine quality courses in the Belek and Kadriye region of Antalya.
The weather in September and October is glorious.
January,February and March are change-able the bad days can be horrendous with storms gales.
April and May has some very good weatherand the bad days are few and far between.
Weather forecasts and statistics can be found, in English on this website;

Hi danuzcurt , have a look at the link below for some goood information about golf in belek.
The infastructure around the area i.e hotels restaurants, bars and transport links are good and regular flights to the uk throughout the winter ( Antalya is the only regional airport with full winter service As I keep telling my real estate clients)
I have played most of the courses albeit badly as I cant on the courses because I am busy selling property here LOL. More courses are planned and in build along this stretch of coast.
