MY Wife and I are hoping to get to Turkey (Not really bothered where, but Olu Deniz we loved so may go back there) in June this year because we never got away last year.
I have seen a few adverts on Teletext Holidays and have had previous quotes from Right Holidays (last year for a last minute deal to Turkey that we ended up not being able to go on).
We have travelled to Turkey with Thomas Cook TV (Olu Deniz to Sun City in October 2005) and First Choice (Turgutreise in October 2004) but find this company very cheap for AI from Edinburgh / Newcastle in June this year.
We are still considering other locations (Cyprus, Canaries etc) but I feel Turkey would give us great weather in June and saves us getting to know a new place as we know Olu from the last visit.
I would be interested to get replies from anyone that has used Right Holidays to travel to Turkey.
They offer a few AI Hotels in Olu (I am interested in Alize or, if cheap enough back to Sun City as we liked it so much the last time)
Comments are very much appreciated.
Our passports also expire in October this year so am concerned about the 6 month "rule" although I understand 3 months left is also considered OK.
Comments on this would also be appreciated. I may even get another 10 year passport, if necessary.

I know we have a dedicated topic on passports however I got my new one yesterday. Reading the leaflet enclosed I note that they advise that you should have six months left. As they will add on any unexpired time up to nine months then I would just renew.

Anyinfo on Right Holidays from anyone would be useful.
They do specialise in Turkey Holidays, although have now expanded to other counties too.
I too had a quote from Wright holidays when I went on their wev site I found they weren't ABTA or ATOL protected so decided against it
I can only see a bonding to the TTA (Travel Trust Association) on their Web Site (INVALID URL but I doubt if this is the same protection that ATOL / ABTA provides.
TeletextHolidays also advise that they have been checked and approved and also have the following when viewing details of a holiday (TTA U4278 Agent for ATOL protected operator) so I am nt sure if this means they are protected via ATOL or not. Comments appreciated.
They are normally much cheaper than any other travel agent or independent and sound OK when getting a deal on the telephone but I am still reluctant to commit to a purchase without the necessary protection.
They consistently advertise very low prices but need to see if anyone has used them successfully in the past prior to booking.... Thanks

I would still like to see if anyone has used Right Holidays before committing myself, however.
VERY cheap compared to the major tour operators. (They quoted me £130 less for the Sun City in Olu Deniz, for example)
I'll keep updating this thread to allow others to see what the company is like but first impressions are good.
It looks as though they book flights through Holidays 4 U and the accomodation in the resort through their Fethiye office of Right Holidays to keep the price down.
I priced the same Holiday through Holidays 4U and it came out around £380 per person. I therefore still saved over £100 pp on the deal going via Right Holidays and this also included the price of an upgraded room on the new block of the Hotel with a Jacuzzi bath.
We have booked with Right Holidays as well. Off to the Hotel Oscar (or Club Eros as it's now being called) on May 19th. So far Right Holidays have been spot on and we received our tickets last Friday. A friend of a friend booked with them last year and had no problems.
We have just returned from Marmaris this morning after booking with Right Holidays and had no problems at all. A rep was there to meet us at Dalaman airport and our transfer to the resort was in a 8 seater mini bus so much quicker than a coach. We were advised to check the hotel notice board for our pick up times to come back, but Right Holidays faxed the hotel the day before we left to advise of our pick up time. We had already been to the hotel were were going to before, so knew problems were unlikely. There is no rep at the hotel or anything, but you are given a local number to ring in case you encounter any problems. Our flights were with Onur air from Newcastle and we had no problems with them either. Right Holidays get a thumbs up from me.
Hi since reading the post have tried to log on to right holidays but it just givs information about company can you book online or do you have to ring them.
I think you have to ring them direct.
Right Holidays are a disaster. You fly there with great service then get the holiday from hell with no understanding customer service. 1 year later Im still trying to get a refund!!!!! They advertise services that arent there. They assign a rep which speaks no english! and is no where to be seen! I wouldnt recommend them to someone I even hate!!!!
Right Holidays are very bad , they have taken my money and wont refund it, they are very nice on the phone but will not respond to letters, be aware !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Were you looking for advice? We'll need a bit more detail than that I'm afraid. What happened ??
